Celebrating Success: Stuart Watkins Named Finalist at the Finance Awards Wales 2026

Here at Seraph Property Management, we are always incredibly proud to celebrate our team members’ achievements. Today, we are putting a well-deserved spotlight on our Client Finance Specialist, Stuart Watkins, who was recently named a finalist for the prestigious Accounts Technician of the Year at the Finance Awards Wales 2026!

The Finance Awards Wales recognises the outstanding achievements and contributions of finance professionals and organisations across the country. This year marked a record-breaking year for the awards, with the highest number of entries and participating companies since its inception. Just making the shortlist in such a highly competitive field is an incredible achievement.

A Nomination Built on Dedication

What makes this recognition even more special is how it came about. Stuart was nominated for the award by his professional tutor, who has seen his exceptional work ethic and drive first-hand. Stuart recently completed his AAT Level 3 qualification and is already working toward his AAT Level 4.

However, Stuart’s dedication goes far beyond his textbooks. His tutor nominated him not just for his commitment to his studies, but for how seamlessly and effectively he applies that knowledge to support the Seraph Finance team daily. Balancing the rigorous demands of professional property finance with higher-level accountancy studies is no small feat, and Stuart handles it with absolute professionalism.

A Night of Celebration

The exclusive black-tie gala ceremony took place on Friday, 15th May 2026, at the Holland House Hotel in Cardiff, bringing together senior finance leaders from across Wales.

While Stuart didn’t take home the final trophy that night, the entire Seraph team could not be prouder. In a record year for submissions, being recognised as one of the top accounts technicians in Wales is a massive testament to his talent and hard work.

Douglas Haig, Managing Director of Seraph Property Management, expressed his pride in Stuart’s accomplishment:
