Seraph are Finalists in Cardiff Life Awards

12th February 2019

Seraph Property Management

On behalf of the Seraph Group (Seraph Property ManagementJames Douglas Sales and Lettings and Clockwork Building and Maintenance) we are delighted to be representing the group and have been chosen as a finalist in the Property category for the Cardiff Life Awards.

The Seraph Group has grown from strength to strength from providing property services including Residential and Block Management, Sales and Lettings as well as Maintenance and Construction. We put the customer at the centre and provide a full ‘cycle of services’ for the client which allows them to tailor the experience to their needs. We operate the three companies so that they work together in order to provide a seamless service but also operate independently so that at all times the best value for money is being achieved for the customer.

Our distinctiveness lies within our business model and how we operate. Our Director, Douglas Haig, is Vice-Chairman for the Residential Landlords Association (RLA) and actively lobbies in both the Senedd and Westminster for the industry.  As such the group leads by example and is led through knowledge and expertise rather than sales patter and hype and gives our customers comfort knowing that the company they deal with is not just at the forefront but instigating changes within it and protecting our clients. We believe that this puts us in a unique position within the sector, as we have a large number of proactive clients, allowing us to raise the standards and set ourselves apart in a sector that is always heavily criticized in the media. We truly lead by example.

The last year, in particular, Seraph Property Management has seen an increase in stock levels by 25%, which in turn has led our team to also increase, creating employment opportunities for an additional two members of staff which has resulted in significant expansion and progression for the company in less than a 12 month period.  Seraph Property Management was also shortlisted as a finalist for the Chartered Institute of Housing PRS Agency Project award which focuses on social value aspects in the PRS, demonstrating we are far more than a raw commercially focused property management company and it was good to be recognised by a body that traditionally recognises social and council housing.

The Cardiff Life Awards is a yearly event, where finalists are chosen by nominations and submissions. The Property Award is sponsored by Park Plaza and with some strong competition, the winner will be announced at the event on Thursday 21st March.

Good Luck to all of the finalists and we look forward to meeting some of you then!
